Fire Up Student Teacher Conference 3-3-2014 @ GVSU

We are so excited to be able to present at the Fire Up 2014 – Student Teacher conference again! We will be covering differentiated instruction, how to present the projects to students, and how to assess the work students turn in. We will also have completed student work available so you can see an end product of Differentiated Instruction for World Languages/ESL.  There will be a  hands-on project for you to complete as well!

Come see us @ GVSU Allendale Campus in room MAK D 1-135 during sessions 2, 4, and 5.

Description of presentation:

Differentiated Instruction for World Languages and ESL learners is a student-centered, project-based approach to student language acquisition and assessment. The objective is to show participants how to differentiate instruction for language learners using menus. Participants engage in selected activities completing creative projects that consider students’ individual and cultural learning styles.
